How to empty trash in Amazon Photos

Amazon Photos is convenient cloud storage for your photos and videos. You’ve probably already seen that this Amazon service is easy to use, has an intuitive interface, and offers many built-in options. However, without a Prime subscription, which gives you unlimited photo storage and 5GB for video, Amazon Photos will quickly run out of space.

If you need a little more space to store your photos and videos, you can of course subscribe to Amazon Prime. But if you don’t have that option, you can simply clear your storage, including your Trash folder. You can do this on any of the devices you use the cloud on. So let’s take a closer look at how to empty your Trash folder in Amazon Photos.

Without an Amazon Prime subscription, you only get 5GB to store your photos and videos on Amazon Photos. So cleaning out your Trash folder can be a great way out. To do this on your iPhone – follow these steps:

  • Then select the “Albums” category and tap on the “Trash” button to access the folder.
  • After that, browse through the photos and videos and tap on the file you want to delete.
  • Finally, tap on the “Delete” option.

Anyway, the Trash folder is useful in all aspects. After all, with it, you still have a chance to recover accidentally deleted photos or videos. However, you can only do this within 30 days of deletion. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to restore files after removing them from the Trash folder.
