For LG, TVs with OLED screens are the flagship products in the TV market. Unlike LED TVs, which use panels from third party manufacturers, LG produces its own OLED displays, as the company sold its LCD panel manufacturing plants to Chinese companies. As a rule, LG releases the same models worldwide with only minor differences.

B6 Series

The LG B6 series includes entry level OLED TVs with a standard design and conventional OLED panels without EVO technology, meaning standard brightness levels. These models are available in screen sizes from 48 to 83 inches. The B6AUA models are intended for the U.S. and Canada, the B6GUA models are designed for the U.S. market, and the B6EUA models are intended for Canada. There are noticeable differences between these versions.

The B6E models are approximately 30% cheaper than the standard B6 models. This lower price is due to the use of previous generation OLED panels. In addition, the MR26 Smart Remote is not included and must be purchased separately, although the TVs remain compatible with it. Because of the absence of the Smart Remote, the OLED B6E series does not support features related to the remote, including Adaptive Acoustic Tuning, AI Magic Remote, AI Voice ID, and Intelligent Voice Recognition.

C6 Series

The LG C6 series is positioned above the B6 lineup because it uses newer OLED EVO panels with increased brightness. TVs in this series are available in sizes from 42 to 83 inches. The series also supports 165Hz VRR, allowing a refresh rate of up to 165 frames per second when Game Mode is enabled and the TV is used as a gaming monitor.

The 77 inch and 83 inch versions use the C6H model designation and include several hardware differences. These models are equipped with Wi Fi 6E modules, while models up to 65 inches use Wi Fi 5. In practice, this difference has little impact for most users, since Wi Fi 6E is primarily intended for business and advanced networking environments.

G6 Series

The LG G6 series consists of premium OLED TVs with an upgraded design and higher positioning within the lineup. These models are available in sizes from 55 to 97 inches. The series stands out because it uses next generation OLED panels and includes a 5 year display warranty. The refresh rate is 165 Hz, with the exception of the 97-inch model, which has a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz.

However, the warranty has limitations. LG covers only the display itself, while shipping costs and labor charges remain the responsibility of the owner. In many cases, after paying for diagnostics and display replacement, purchasing a new TV may be more practical than repairing the old one. In the United States, G6 TVs are supplied with a wall mount included in the package.

W6 Series

The LG W6 series includes ultra thin premium OLED TVs focused on minimalist design and large screen sizes. The series is available in 77 inch and 83 inch versions and features a two component design with a separate display panel and external control unit. These TVs also use next generation OLED panels and include a 5 year display warranty, VRR 165Hz.

The situation is similar in the European market, but it is worth noting that TV models in Europe are usually released later than in the North American market. In addition, there are significantly more models available in Europe, as LG segments the market by country. Overall, however, the TVs are similar to their U.S. counterparts.
