Is Netflix free with Xbox Live Gold membership

Xbox Live Gold is Microsoft’s online subscription service for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. It’s required to enter the multiplayer mode of all games on these consoles.

How to explain Xbox Live Gold

If you want to play with a friend over the network, or if you have a desire to enter a crowded session of a competitive game – you’ll need to buy an Xbox Live Gold.

Among other things, each month the company will give you a free copy of the game and huge discounts on some games from the library of consoles.

You don’t need a subscription to this service if you play single-player games, and you don’t need one if you play multiplayer games offline.

For example, you don’t need to buy Xbox Live Gold if you play split-screen modes that require two players to be at the same console in the same room.

How much Netflix costs with Xbox Live Gold and without it

Today, you don’t need Xbox Live Gold if you just want to watch Netflix or Hulu or use other services with similar features.

For example, in the days of the Xbox 360 – or even when the Xbox One was released – you were required to pay for an Xbox Live Gold and Netflix subscription to enjoy your favorite TV shows.

However, Microsoft has changed the system so that users don’t overpay for the features they receive – Xbox Live Gold is now only used for games.

If you pay for this subscription and download the Netflix streaming app, then, as mentioned above, the download of the app itself will be free with or without a subscription.

However, to use the Netflix subscription, you’ll still need to create a new account or log in to your old account and subscribe separately from Xbox Live Gold. These are two completely unrelated services that don’t depend on each other.
