How to cancel Paramount Plus on Amazon Prime

There are a lot of different streaming services out there today that can really demand your attention. After Netflix, Discovery Plus, Disney Plus, HBO Max, and Starz took over the streaming space, Paramount Plus has also joined their ranks to gain some of its audience.

Still, Paramount Plus is a little different from its counterparts. Not only does it offer a variety of original content, but it also offers live telecasts for all CBS shows. It’s, after all, an updated version of CBS All Access. It isn’t surprising that with so much streaming content, everyone wants to know exactly what the special offers look like.

Once you sign up for Paramount Plus, you might think it’s not that great, especially considering its $9.99 a month price if you don’t want to pay ads. It’s $4.99 a month for the basic package with ads. If that’s the reason, or some other reason, that you decide you want to cancel your subscription through your Amazon Prime account, you should know that it’s pretty easy to do.

So, here’s how to cancel Paramount Plus on Amazon Prime.

How does Paramount Plus compare to other streaming services

It’s quite a challenge to enter a highly saturated and aggressively competitive space like online video streaming. With streaming giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, HBO Max, and Apple TV having a solid user base, Paramount Plus is already at a disadvantage.

To put the numbers in perspective, competing with 73.08 million Netflix subscribers in the U.S., 112 million Amazon Prime subscribers in the U.S., 74 million Disney Plus subscribers worldwide and 33.6 million Apple TV subscribers in the US is quite a feat.

Since CBS All Access only has 17.3 million subscribers at the moment, it certainly needs to step up, and rebranding as Paramount Plus is definitely a good way to do that.
